Look-See: Amy Choi

Age: 19
Occupation: majoring in French and minoring in International Affairs at UNC-Wilmington

What are you currently into right now?
I'd have to say heels (although my wallet doesn't allow such extravagant or frequent purchases), mixing patterns/textures, and entirely monotone outfits.
How would you describe your personality? Does it match your style?
I think I come off as somewhat of an introvert, even boring... but once you get to know me, you see that I'm much more complex and gregarious. My style does seem to correlate since I tend to lean more towards dark, not very Wilmington-friendly colors. I love wearing black and grey, but sometimes I'll throw in a splash of color or an interesting pattern with my outfit. I feel like that kinda gives a peek into another dimension of my personality and style.
Where do you get your inspiration from?
Although I follow a ton of fashion blogs and have several favorite designers, I feel like I get my inspiration from the lack of inspiration around me. Living in Wilmington, there is such a limitation in discovering and observing different styles since everyone is practically a clone here, wearing A&F, Hollister, American Eagle. Unlike most girls here, I usually start my outfit with black or grey as a base, then work from there.

Look-See: Miri Han

Age: 20
Occupation: student majoring in Retailing and Consumer studies at UNC-Greensboro and a sales associate at Anthropologie

How would you describe your style?
-My style is comfortable and laid back. I like things I can put on real fast and go on with my day. I also like a dramatic look.
What colors are you attracted to when picking out what to wear? Patterns?
-I am typically attracted to all sorts of patterns. If you were to take a closer look at my closet, I have tons of patterns... but my favorite color to wear is usually black along with a patterned piece.
Describe a typical Miri outfit:
-A Miri outfit would be a pair of tights with a dress or tunic, boots, and a cardigan.

Look-See: Jessica Fritz

Age: 20
Occupation: student majoring in Sculpture and minoring in Religious Studies at UNC-Greensboro

What are you currently into right now?
-I guess right now i'm just into clothes that are form fitting... and a lot of black. I'm always into second-hand clothing, anything that's comfortable, and earth tones.
How would you describe your style?
-I would describe my style as casual and with neutral colors for the most part. I like to incorporate androgyny into my style.

Closets: Ali Cinelli

Age: 19
Occupation: waitress and rising student at the Art Institute of Raleigh-Durham majoring in Fashion Marketing and Management.

When she isn't in her typical outfit for work, cotton shorts with the name Cinelli's on the back and a Cinelli's t-shirt, Ali Cinelli is dressed to impress. I would classify her style as classy and trendy with a touch of sexiness. Her closet is filled with a variety of different clothes she has collected over the years. Any girl with any style would definitely be able to find something in her packed closet that they would want to wear. What I love most about Ali's style is that she knows what she likes and she is not scared of what people think of her daring outfits.
